Sabbath Your Minds: The Feasts

Did you know that there are days similar to the Sabbath? Those days are called holy convocations (gathering) just like the Sabbath. Leviticus 23:2 “Speak unto the children of Israel, and say unto them, Concerning the feasts of the LORD, which ye shall proclaim to be holy convocations, even these are my feasts.” A unknown fact is that the Sabbath …

Renew our Days as of Old 3: Spring of the Year

The subject of a calendar is difficult enough to discuss. Add to this the fact that our upbringing might make us think something else is strange. Hosea 8:2 “I have written to him the great things of my law, but they were counted as a strange thing.” In some cases our instinct would try to make us explain away even …

Law of Moses or of God? episode 4

Learning from the beginning of the scriptures reveals to us the desire of our Creator. Bible Readings

Although you could directly download from our site the Bible Readings audio, some find podcast apps to be convenient. The scriptures say (Matthew 10:8) freely ye have received, freely give. The word of the Heavenly Father should not be for sale or to receive financial gains, by anyone. As we should all know, the Hebrew word Sabbath means rest, hence …

Good Habits #2 – Take Time Off

Today you have a lot of our people that take the time off to celebrate a day that has nothing to do with the Creator although it is called Thanksgiving. However the days the he commanded to be honored as holy and to give him thanks are dismissed. Preferring the tradition of men rather than the commandment of God. Mark 7:7 “Howbeit in vain do they worship me, teaching for doctrines the commandments of men.” Verse 8: “For laying aside the commandment of God, ye hold the tradition of men…”

There is no spiritual or physical gain in the celebrations of the world as when one takes the day off to keep a Sabbath. As you listen to the podcast you will be enlightened of how true the words of Christ are when he said in Luke 21:33 “Heaven and earth shall pass away: but my words shall not pass away.” Verse 34: “And take heed to yourselves, lest at any time your hearts be overcharged with surfeiting, and drunkenness, and cares of this life, and so that day come upon you unawares.” Verse 35: “For as a snare [trap] shall it come on all them that dwell on the face of the whole earth.” Don’t get caught out there in the traps that have been set against you. Good Habits #1 – Asking Questions

Shalam (Peace) Brothers and Sisters,
Previously we learned the law that Moses commanded the priests and elders to teach daily the children of Israel during the feast of Tabernacles. See, Deuteronomy 31:9-13. Obviously if the people attended the feasts they would get taught the laws, statutes, commandments, and laws which would benefit them. Nehemiah 8:8 “So they read in the book in the law of God distinctly, and gave the sense, and caused them to understand the reading.” However that is not the only benefit to attending the feasts of the most High. Without realizing righteous customs or good habits would naturally be gained by experience. Then hopefully the person would continue such customs in spite of it being an ordinary day. In this podcast lesson we discover that the priests and elders are required to answer our sincere questions. By the way if you enjoy the podcast do not forget to subscribe and share them.
