Today you have a lot of our people that take the time off to celebrate a day that has nothing to do with the Creator although it is called Thanksgiving. However the days the he commanded to be honored as holy and to give him thanks are dismissed. Preferring the tradition of men rather than the commandment of God. Mark 7:7 “Howbeit in vain do they worship me, teaching for doctrines the commandments of men.” Verse 8: “For laying aside the commandment of God, ye hold the tradition of men…”

There is no spiritual or physical gain in the celebrations of the world as when one takes the day off to keep a Sabbath. Let’s be frank if you are truly thankful for the grace of God you wouldn’t need a specific day to show it. Psalms 103:2 “Bless the LORD, O my soul, and forget not all his benefits:” All over sudden many want to show contributions to the poor by handing out turkeys; why publicize it and not just do it everyday? Matthew 6:1 “Take heed that ye do not your alms before men, to be seen of them: otherwise ye have no reward of your Father which is in heaven.” This society likes to put a veil over their face. Please lets stop lying to ourselves Thanksgiving has nothing to do the with warm fuzzy made up story that you hear every year. We live in the real world where every day there is oppression and poverty. Where there is no morals and the duty towards God comes last. You do not have to be a historian to know that the Pilgrim and Native American Indian feast is fabricated. Just look around you today and you see the Native Americans Indians (who are in fact Israelites) suffering just like their ancestors.
