Hearken unto Him
As much as I like music, we must understand the value of listening to the scriptures. Hosea 9:17 “My God will cast them away, because they did not hearken unto him: and they shall be wanderers among the nations.” To get our people to listen (hearken) is a challenge in itself. Jeremiah 6:10 “To whom shall I speak, and give warning, that they may hear? behold, their ear is uncircumcised, and they cannot hearken: behold, the word of the LORD is unto them a reproach; they have no delight in it.”
If the prophets of old complained concerning Israel not having interest in the most High’s word; how much more now? I have witnessed in this time period the children of Israel (so called Blacks, Hispanics, and Native American Indians) walking by with their hands on their ears, shouting LALALALALALALAA! To not hear the scriptures. Zechariah 7:11 “But they refused to hearken, and pulled away the shoulder, and stopped their ears, that they should not hear.” In the near future, all will realize how blessed are those that seek God early. Luke 11:28 “But he said, Yea rather, blessed are they that hear the word of God, and keep it.” For those chosen few that delight in wisdom; the radio station has been updated.
