Prepare for the Passover
Exodus 12:3 “Speak ye unto all the congregation of Israel, saying, In the tenth day of this month they shall take to them every man a lamb, according to the house of their fathers, a lamb for an house:” The tenth day was yesterday, meaning Passover is fast approaching and we are commanded to prepare for it. At that time when our forefathers heard this, it was a prophecy that they would receive freedom. By studying the feasts days (Sabbaths) we learn not to procrastinate in matters pertaining to our salvation. Apocrypha Ecclesiasticus 5:7 “Make no tarrying to turn to the Lord, and put not off from day to day: for suddenly shall the wrath of the Lord come forth, and in thy security thou shalt be destroyed, and perish in the day of vengeance.” As a matter of fact if you keep the feast days, you will notice that they are prophetic. The value of the holy days such as the cultural significance, your history, heritage, and strength of joy is priceless to those that observe it and understand. Apocrypha Ecclesiasticus 21:11 “He that keepeth the law of the Lord getteth the understanding thereof: and the perfection of the fear of the Lord is wisdom.”
