\nChrist taught that we would be known by our fruits. Matthew 7:15<\/strong>\n\u201cBeware of false prophets, which come to you in sheep\u2019s\nclothing, but inwardly they are ravening wolves.\u201d <\/em>Verse 16:<\/strong>\n\u201cYe <\/em>shall know them by their fruits.<\/strong><\/em> Do men\ngather grapes of thorns, or figs of thistles?\u201d<\/em> Keeping in mind\nwhat we learned yesterday of the analogy of our doings as fruits. \nWhat is being explained is that you have teachers that pretend to be\n\u201csheep\u201d. They seem as harmless Israelites that follow Christ. \nHowever they are ravenous wolves meaning intensely eager for\ngratification thus they devour the souls of our people. \n<\/p>\n\n\n\n

A\nperfect example is from a known Israelite group that sells\nmerchandise with graven images. We have covered some of their\nteachings in the past<\/a>.\n On\ntheir webpage titled \u201cAre Images Wrong?\u201d they quote Hosea\n10:1<\/strong>\n\u201c<\/em>Israel\n<\/em>is<\/em> an empty vine, he bringeth forth fruit unto\nhimself: according to the multitude of his fruit he hath increased\nthe altars; according to the goodness of his land they have made\n<\/em>goodly images<\/strong><\/em>.\u201d <\/em>They\nemphasize the word goodly for images as if this scripture is\nendorsing images. \n<\/p>\n\n\n\n

But if we examine, Israel in the previous chapter<\/a> was first fruit of grapes to God; now in this chapter the vine is empty of grapes. Israel established their own righteousness bringing fruit unto himself by the idols they made with their own hands. In like fashion these I<\/strong>sraelites U<\/strong>nder I<\/strong>mmense C<\/strong>onfusion suppose that many altars is also good, the place where the images will reside. Thus this is referring to the many gods that wicked Israel had. For this reason the Heavenly Father commanded saying, Exodus 34:13<\/strong> \u201cBut ye shall destroy their altars, break their images, and cut down their groves:\u201d<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n

If\nwe read on there was nothing \u201cgood\u201d in the images. The use of\nthe word \u201cgood\u201d is not to be confused as approval from God. \nHosea 10:2<\/strong>\n\u201cTheir heart is divided; now shall they be found faulty:\nhe shall break down their altars, he shall spoil their images.\u201d<\/em>\nLike those of the past, these\nare not fully committed to the Heavenly Father although they call\nthemselves Israelites. Their mind is divided, between serving God\nand mammon. Ravenous, their instant gratification on the sale of\ngraven images is what blinds them into thinking its good. \n<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\nHow desperate they are to deceive God\u2019s people that they didn’t\neven read the following verse? As it was said in the previous\nchapter, Hosea 9:7<\/strong> \u201c\u2026.<\/em>the prophet <\/em>is<\/em>\na fool, the spiritual man <\/em>is<\/em> mad, for the\nmultitude of thine iniquity, and the great hatred.\u201d <\/em>To remove\nall doubt, the word good is referring to how the wicked would view\nthe work of the artificer. Wisdom of Solomon 14:19<\/strong> \u201cFor\nhe, peradventure willing to please one in authority, <\/em>forced\nall his skill to make the resemblance of the best fashion<\/strong><\/em>.\u201d\n<\/em>Verse <\/strong>20: <\/strong>\u201cAnd so the multitude, allured by\nthe <\/em>grace of the work<\/strong><\/em>, took him now for a god,\nwhich a little before was but honoured.\u201d<\/em> \n<\/p>\n\n\n\n

We have gotten very far in this book, to know that Hosea is talking about the whoredom of Israel in idolatry (false gods). We are divided as a people because of iniquity; we must choose whether we want to unite towards serving the most High or as Hosea will continue to reveal the graven images. Be not divided in your hearts Israel follow YHWH the only true God!<\/p>\n\n\n\n
