Those of us that believe in the Creator understand that he made everything with a purpose. 2<\/strong>nd<\/strong><\/sup> Esdras 6:45<\/strong> \u201cUpon the fourth day thou commandedst that the sun should shine, and the moon give her light, and the stars should be in order:\u201d <\/em>Verse 46:<\/strong> \u201cAnd gavest them a charge to do service unto man, that was to be made.\u201d<\/em> The service unto man that these lights provide, is the ability to tell time. Particularly the moon is the way to determine the beginning of months<\/strong><\/a>. In fact the word month comes from the word moon. Apocrypha Ecclesiasticus 43:6<\/strong> \u201cHe made the moon also to serve in her season for a declaration of times, and a sign of the world.\u201d <\/em>Verse 8:<\/strong> \u201cThe month is called after her name,\u2026.\u201d<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n

The proper way to determine the first day of the month has been replaced by the Roman calendar that was created by Julius Caesar. Ironically, so called \u201cChristians\u201d do not question the modern calendar that was created by a man that believed in pagan gods. Therefore they do not understand that basis of all the days in the modern calendar is for adoration of false gods. Galatians 4:8<\/strong> \u201cHowbeit then, when ye knew not God, ye did service unto them which by nature are no gods.\u201d <\/em>Verse 9:<\/strong> \u201cBut now, after that ye have known God, or rather are known of God, how turn ye again to the weak and beggarly elements, whereunto ye desire again to be in bondage?\u201d <\/em>Verse 10:<\/strong>\u201cYe observe days, and months, and times, and years.\u201d <\/em>Verse 11:<\/strong> \u201cI am afraid of you, lest I have bestowed upon you labour in vain.\u201d<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n
