\nOne of the worse feelings a person could have is when it seems like\nthe whole world is against you. In some cases its not just a feeling\nbut a reality. That is what this Psalm is about, King David knew all\ntoo well this experience. In his lifetime he had to flee more than\nonce from a powerful enemy that was looking to kill him. In this\ncase as the title of this Psalm states, \u201cA Psalm of David, when\nhe fled from Absalom his son.\u201d <\/em>Could you imagine the emotion\nand pain he went through? His own son rose up against him, leading\nan army of those that hated him. \n<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\nNaturally, in such situation many questions would emerge in the\nheart. None is asked in this Psalm, meaning that David knew why such\nthings is happening to him. 2<\/strong>nd<\/strong><\/sup> Samuel\n12:11<\/strong> \u201cThus saith the LORD,<\/em> Behold, I will raise\nup evil against thee out of thine own house<\/strong><\/em>, and I will\ntake thy wives before thine eyes, and give them unto thy neighbour,\nand he shall lie with thy wives in the sight of this sun.\u201d <\/em>Verse\n12:<\/strong> \u201cFor thou didst it secretly: but I will do this thing\nbefore all Israel, and before the sun.\u201d<\/em> The cause of his\ntroubles was his own sin, resulting in a punishment by God. \n<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\nIn his despair he doesn\u2019t blame God instead he turns to him\nfaithfully. Psalms 3:4<\/strong> \u201cI cried unto the LORD with my\nvoice, and he heard me out of his holy hill. Selah.\u201d<\/em> Teaching\nus to take accountability for our actions and when we feel like there\nis no one on our side, remember there is salvation with the most\nHigh!<\/p>\n\n\n\n
