\nFor these past few weeks we set the Passover as our priority, as we\nalways do. Meaning that we chose to be offline for a while. But\ndon\u2019t worry we didn’t forget about you! We also use that time to\ndetermine what should be done for the website and be productive in\nthe mean time. One of our greatest priorities is the podcasts which\naffects the radio station<\/strong><\/a>.\n BTW it has been updated a few days ago with two chapters of Psalms. \nThank you to the sisters and brothers that reached out and let us\nknow that they wanted to hear new podcasts. \n<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\nToday we want to begin with an amazing chapter that predicts the\ncoming of Christ. Psalms 2:7<\/strong> \u201cI will declare the decree:\nthe LORD hath said unto me, Thou art my Son; this day have I begotten\nthee.\u201d<\/em> We are taught by Christ to search the scriptures\nbecause they speak of him. See, John 5:39<\/strong>. At the time he\nsaid that, only the so called Old Testament existed. Here is\nevidence that we are commanded by a decree declared by the Heavenly\nFather to believe in Christ. Matthew 3:16<\/strong> \u201cAnd Jesus,\nwhen he was baptized, went up straightway out of the water: and, lo,\nthe heavens were opened unto him, and he saw the Spirit of God\ndescending like a dove, and lighting upon him:\u201d <\/em>Verse 17:<\/strong>\n\u201cAnd lo <\/em>a voice from heaven, saying, This is my beloved\nSon<\/strong><\/em>, in whom I am well pleased.\u201d<\/em> \n<\/p>\n\n\n\n

A wonderful fact that we could learn from this chapter is the meaning of the word Christ. Many theorize the meaning of Christ and go to questionable sources to discourage the use of this word. The second verse speaks of the rulers of this earth having rage against the most High\u2019s anointed<\/em>. This exact same scripture is quoted in Acts 4:25<\/strong> \u201cWho by the mouth of thy servant David hast said, Why did the heathen rage, and the people imagine vain things?\u201d <\/em>Verse 26:<\/strong> \u201cThe kings of the earth stood up, and the rulers were gathered together against the Lord <\/em>[YHWH], and against his Christ <\/em>[anointed].\u201d <\/em>The Hebrew word for anointed is translated to Messiah in English. How come then is the word anointed translated in Acts to Christ? John 1:41<\/strong> \u201cHe first findeth his own brother Simon, and saith unto him, We have found the Messias, which is, being interpreted, the Christ<\/strong><\/em>.\u201d<\/em> The explanation is simple, Christ is a Greek translation for the word anointed. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
