{"id":2066,"date":"2014-11-03T02:21:02","date_gmt":"2014-11-03T02:21:02","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/12tribes.net\/bible\/rom04\/"},"modified":"2020-03-10T08:29:40","modified_gmt":"2020-03-10T12:29:40","slug":"rom04","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/12tribes.net\/bible\/rom04\/","title":{"rendered":"Romans 4"},"content":{"rendered":"<div class=\"main\">\r\n <div class=\"chapterlabel\"><a name=\"V0\"> 4<\/a><\/div><div class=\"p\">\r\n <span class=\"verse\"> <a name=\"V1\">1\u00a0<\/a><\/span>What shall we say then that Abraham our father, as pertaining to the flesh, hath found?  <span class=\"verse\"> <a name=\"V2\">2\u00a0<\/a><\/span>For if Abraham were justified by works, he hath <span class=\"add\">whereof<\/span> to glory; but not before God.  <span class=\"verse\"> <a name=\"V3\">3\u00a0<\/a><\/span>For what saith the scripture? Abraham believed God, and it was counted unto him for righteousness.  <span class=\"verse\"> <a name=\"V4\">4\u00a0<\/a><\/span>Now to him that worketh is the reward not reckoned of grace, but of debt.  <span class=\"verse\"> <a name=\"V5\">5\u00a0<\/a><\/span>But to him that worketh not, but believeth on him that justifieth the ungodly, his faith is counted for righteousness.  <span class=\"verse\"> <a name=\"V6\">6\u00a0<\/a><\/span>Even as David also describeth the blessedness of the man, unto whom God imputeth righteousness without works,  <span class=\"verse\"> <a name=\"V7\">7\u00a0<\/a><\/span> <span class=\"add\">Saying,<\/span> Blessed <span class=\"add\">are<\/span> they whose iniquities are forgiven, and whose sins are covered.  <span class=\"verse\"> <a name=\"V8\">8\u00a0<\/a><\/span>Blessed <span class=\"add\">is<\/span> the man to whom the Lord will not impute sin.  <span class=\"verse\"> <a name=\"V9\">9\u00a0<\/a><\/span> <span class=\"add\">Cometh<\/span> this blessedness then upon the circumcision <span class=\"add\">only,<\/span> or upon the uncircumcision also? for we say that faith was reckoned to Abraham for righteousness.  <span class=\"verse\"> <a name=\"V10\">10\u00a0<\/a><\/span>How was it then reckoned? when he was in circumcision, or in uncircumcision?
