\r\n 1\u00a0<\/a><\/span>I am come into my garden, my sister, my<\/span> spouse: I have gathered my myrrh with my spice; I have eaten my honeycomb with my honey; I have drunk my wine with my milk: eat, O friends; drink, yea, drink abundantly, O beloved. <\/div>
2\u00a0<\/a><\/span>I sleep, but my heart waketh: it is<\/span> the voice of my beloved that knocketh, saying,<\/span> Open to me, my sister, my love, my dove, my undefiled: for my head is filled with dew, and<\/span> my locks with the drops of the night. 3\u00a0<\/a><\/span>I have put off my coat; how shall I put it on? I have washed my feet; how shall I defile them? 4\u00a0<\/a><\/span>My beloved put in his hand by the hole of the door,<\/span> and my bowels were moved for him. 5\u00a0<\/a><\/span>I rose up to open to my beloved; and my hands dropped with<\/span> myrrh, and my fingers with<\/span> sweet smelling myrrh, upon the handles of the lock. 6\u00a0<\/a><\/span>I opened to my beloved; but my beloved had withdrawn himself, and<\/span> was gone: my soul failed when he spake: I sought him, but I could not find him; I called him, but he gave me no answer. 7\u00a0<\/a><\/span>The watchmen that went about the city found me, they smote me, they wounded me; the keepers of the walls took away my veil from me. 8\u00a0<\/a><\/span>I charge you, O daughters of Jerusalem, if ye find my beloved, that ye tell him, that I am<\/span> sick of love. <\/div>
9\u00a0<\/a><\/span>What is<\/span> thy beloved more than another<\/span> beloved, O thou fairest among women? what is<\/span> thy beloved more than another<\/span> beloved, that thou dost so charge us? 10\u00a0<\/a><\/span>My beloved is<\/span> white and ruddy, the chiefest among ten thousand. 11\u00a0<\/a><\/span>His head is as<\/span> the most fine gold, his locks are<\/span> bushy, and<\/span> black as a raven. 12\u00a0<\/a><\/span>His eyes are<\/span> as the eyes<\/span> of doves by the rivers of waters, washed with milk, and<\/span> fitly set. 13\u00a0<\/a><\/span>His cheeks are<\/span> as a bed of spices, as<\/span> sweet flowers: his lips like<\/span> lilies, dropping sweet smelling myrrh. 14\u00a0<\/a><\/span>His hands are as<\/span> gold rings set with the beryl: his belly is as<\/span> bright ivory overlaid with<\/span> sapphires. 15\u00a0<\/a><\/span>His legs are as<\/span> pillars of marble, set upon sockets of fine gold: his countenance is<\/span> as Lebanon, excellent as the cedars. 16\u00a0<\/a><\/span>His mouth is<\/span> most sweet: yea, he is<\/span> altogether lovely. This is<\/span> my beloved, and this is<\/span> my friend, O daughters of Jerusalem. <\/div>
