\r\n 1\u00a0<\/a><\/span>Through desire a man, having separated himself, seeketh and<\/span> intermeddleth with all wisdom. 2\u00a0<\/a><\/span>A fool hath no delight in understanding, but that his heart may discover itself. 3\u00a0<\/a><\/span>When the wicked cometh, then<\/span> cometh also contempt, and with ignominy reproach. 4\u00a0<\/a><\/span>The words of a man\u2019s mouth are as<\/span> deep waters, and<\/span> the wellspring of wisdom as<\/span> a flowing brook. 5\u00a0<\/a><\/span> It is<\/span> not good to accept the person of the wicked, to overthrow the righteous in judgment. 6\u00a0<\/a><\/span>A fool\u2019s lips enter into contention, and his mouth calleth for strokes. 7\u00a0<\/a><\/span>A fool\u2019s mouth is<\/span> his destruction, and his lips are<\/span> the snare of his soul. 8\u00a0<\/a><\/span>The words of a talebearer are<\/span> as wounds, and they go down into the innermost parts of the belly. 9\u00a0<\/a><\/span>He also that is slothful in his work is brother to him that is a great waster. 10\u00a0<\/a><\/span>The name of the LORD is<\/span> a strong tower: the righteous runneth into it, and is safe. 11\u00a0<\/a><\/span>The rich man\u2019s wealth is<\/span> his strong city, and as an high wall in his own conceit. 12\u00a0<\/a><\/span>Before destruction the heart of man is haughty, and before honour is<\/span> humility. 13\u00a0<\/a><\/span>He that answereth a matter before he heareth it,<\/span> it is<\/span> folly and shame unto him. 14\u00a0<\/a><\/span>The spirit of a man will sustain his infirmity; but a wounded spirit who can bear? 15\u00a0<\/a><\/span>The heart of the prudent getteth knowledge; and the ear of the wise seeketh knowledge. 16\u00a0<\/a><\/span>A man\u2019s gift maketh room for him, and bringeth him before great men. 17\u00a0<\/a><\/span> He that is<\/span> first in his own cause seemeth<\/span> just; but his neighbour cometh and searcheth him. 18\u00a0<\/a><\/span>The lot causeth contentions to cease, and parteth between the mighty. 19\u00a0<\/a><\/span>A brother offended is harder to be won<\/span> than a strong city: and their<\/span> contentions are<\/span> like the bars of a castle. 20\u00a0<\/a><\/span>A man\u2019s belly shall be satisfied with the fruit of his mouth; and<\/span> with the increase of his lips shall he be filled. 21\u00a0<\/a><\/span>Death and life are<\/span> in the power of the tongue: and they that love it shall eat the fruit thereof. 22\u00a0<\/a><\/span> Whoso<\/span> findeth a wife findeth a good thing,<\/span> and obtaineth favour of the LORD. 23\u00a0<\/a><\/span>The poor useth intreaties; but the rich answereth roughly. 24\u00a0<\/a><\/span>A man that hath<\/span> friends must shew himself friendly: and there is a friend that<\/span> sticketh closer than a brother. <\/div>
