\r\n 1\u00a0<\/a><\/span>A wise son heareth<\/span> his father\u2019s instruction: but a scorner heareth not rebuke. 2\u00a0<\/a><\/span>A man shall eat good by the fruit of his<\/span> mouth: but the soul of the transgressors shall eat<\/span> violence. 3\u00a0<\/a><\/span>He that keepeth his mouth keepeth his life: but<\/span> he that openeth wide his lips shall have destruction. 4\u00a0<\/a><\/span>The soul of the sluggard desireth, and hath<\/span> nothing: but the soul of the diligent shall be made fat. 5\u00a0<\/a><\/span>A righteous man<\/span> hateth lying: but a wicked man<\/span> is loathsome, and cometh to shame. 6\u00a0<\/a><\/span>Righteousness keepeth him that is<\/span> upright in the way: but wickedness overthroweth the sinner. 7\u00a0<\/a><\/span>There is that maketh himself rich, yet hath<\/span> nothing: there is<\/span> that maketh himself poor, yet hath<\/span> great riches. 8\u00a0<\/a><\/span>The ransom of a man\u2019s life are<\/span> his riches: but the poor heareth not rebuke. 9\u00a0<\/a><\/span>The light of the righteous rejoiceth: but the lamp of the wicked shall be put out. 10\u00a0<\/a><\/span>Only by pride cometh contention: but with the well advised is<\/span> wisdom. 11\u00a0<\/a><\/span>Wealth gotten<\/span> by vanity shall be diminished: but he that gathereth by labour shall increase. 12\u00a0<\/a><\/span>Hope deferred maketh the heart sick: but when<\/span> the desire cometh, it is<\/span> a tree of life. 13\u00a0<\/a><\/span>Whoso despiseth the word shall be destroyed: but he that feareth the commandment shall be rewarded. 14\u00a0<\/a><\/span>The law of the wise is<\/span> a fountain of life, to depart from the snares of death. 15\u00a0<\/a><\/span>Good understanding giveth favour: but the way of transgressors is<\/span> hard. 16\u00a0<\/a><\/span>Every prudent man<\/span> dealeth with knowledge: but a fool layeth open his<\/span> folly. 17\u00a0<\/a><\/span>A wicked messenger falleth into mischief: but a faithful ambassador is<\/span> health. 18\u00a0<\/a><\/span>Poverty and shame shall be to<\/span> him that refuseth instruction: but he that regardeth reproof shall be honoured. 19\u00a0<\/a><\/span>The desire accomplished is sweet to the soul: but it is<\/span> abomination to fools to depart from evil. 20\u00a0<\/a><\/span>He that walketh with wise men<\/span> shall be wise: but a companion of fools shall be destroyed. 21\u00a0<\/a><\/span>Evil pursueth sinners: but to the righteous good shall be repaid. 22\u00a0<\/a><\/span>A good man<\/span> leaveth an inheritance to his children\u2019s children: and the wealth of the sinner is laid up for the just. 23\u00a0<\/a><\/span>Much food is in<\/span> the tillage of the poor: but there is that is<\/span> destroyed for want of judgment. 24\u00a0<\/a><\/span>He that spareth his rod hateth his son: but he that loveth him chasteneth him betimes. 25\u00a0<\/a><\/span>The righteous eateth to the satisfying of his soul: but the belly of the wicked shall want. <\/div>
