A Psalm<\/span> of David. <\/div>
\r\n 1\u00a0<\/a><\/span>Blessed be<\/span> the LORD my strength, which teacheth my hands to war, and<\/span> my fingers to fight: <\/div>
2\u00a0<\/a><\/span>My goodness, and my fortress; my high tower, and my deliverer; my shield, and he<\/span> in whom I trust; who subdueth my people under me. <\/div>
3\u00a0<\/a><\/span>LORD, what is<\/span> man, that thou takest knowledge of him! or<\/span> the son of man, that thou makest account of him! <\/div>
4\u00a0<\/a><\/span>Man is like to vanity: his days are<\/span> as a shadow that passeth away. <\/div>
5\u00a0<\/a><\/span>Bow thy heavens, O LORD, and come down: touch the mountains, and they shall smoke. <\/div>
6\u00a0<\/a><\/span>Cast forth lightning, and scatter them: shoot out thine arrows, and destroy them. <\/div>
7\u00a0<\/a><\/span>Send thine hand from above; rid me, and deliver me out of great waters, from the hand of strange children; <\/div>
8\u00a0<\/a><\/span>Whose mouth speaketh vanity, and their right hand is<\/span> a right hand of falsehood. <\/div>
9\u00a0<\/a><\/span>I will sing a new song unto thee, O God: upon a psaltery and<\/span> an instrument of ten strings will I sing praises unto thee. <\/div>
10\u00a0<\/a><\/span> It is he<\/span> that giveth salvation unto kings: who delivereth David his servant from the hurtful sword. <\/div>
11\u00a0<\/a><\/span>Rid me, and deliver me from the hand of strange children, whose mouth speaketh vanity, and their right hand is<\/span> a right hand of falsehood: <\/div>
12\u00a0<\/a><\/span>That our sons may be<\/span> as plants grown up in their youth; that<\/span> our daughters may be<\/span> as corner stones, polished after<\/span> the similitude of a palace: <\/div>
13\u00a0<\/a><\/span> That<\/span> our garners may be<\/span> full, affording all manner of store: that<\/span> our sheep may bring forth thousands and ten thousands in our streets: <\/div>
14\u00a0<\/a><\/span> That<\/span> our oxen may be<\/span> strong to labour; that there be<\/span> no breaking in, nor going out; that there be<\/span> no complaining in our streets. <\/div>
15\u00a0<\/a><\/span>Happy is that<\/span> people, that is in such a case: yea,<\/span> happy is that<\/span> people, whose God is<\/span> the LORD. <\/div>
