A Song of degrees. <\/div>
\r\n 1\u00a0<\/a><\/span>Many a time have they afflicted me from my youth, may Israel now say: <\/div>
2\u00a0<\/a><\/span>Many a time have they afflicted me from my youth: yet they have not prevailed against me. <\/div>
3\u00a0<\/a><\/span>The plowers plowed upon my back: they made long their furrows. <\/div>
4\u00a0<\/a><\/span>The LORD is<\/span> righteous: he hath cut asunder the cords of the wicked. <\/div>
5\u00a0<\/a><\/span>Let them all be confounded and turned back that hate Zion. <\/div>
6\u00a0<\/a><\/span>Let them be as the grass upon<\/span> the housetops, which withereth afore it groweth up: <\/div>
7\u00a0<\/a><\/span>Wherewith the mower filleth not his hand; nor he that bindeth sheaves his bosom. <\/div>
8\u00a0<\/a><\/span>Neither do they which go by say, The blessing of the LORD be<\/span> upon you: we bless you in the name of the LORD. <\/div>
