A Prayer of David. <\/div>
\r\n 1\u00a0<\/a><\/span>Bow down thine ear, O LORD, hear me: for I am<\/span> poor and needy. <\/div>
2\u00a0<\/a><\/span>Preserve my soul; for I am<\/span> holy: O thou my God, save thy servant that trusteth in thee. <\/div>
3\u00a0<\/a><\/span>Be merciful unto me, O Lord: for I cry unto thee daily. <\/div>
4\u00a0<\/a><\/span>Rejoice the soul of thy servant: for unto thee, O Lord, do I lift up my soul. <\/div>
5\u00a0<\/a><\/span>For thou, Lord, art<\/span> good, and ready to forgive; and plenteous in mercy unto all them that call upon thee. <\/div>
6\u00a0<\/a><\/span>Give ear, O LORD, unto my prayer; and attend to the voice of my supplications. <\/div>
7\u00a0<\/a><\/span>In the day of my trouble I will call upon thee: for thou wilt answer me. <\/div>
8\u00a0<\/a><\/span>Among the gods there is<\/span> none like unto thee, O Lord; neither are there any works<\/span> like unto thy works. <\/div>
9\u00a0<\/a><\/span>All nations whom thou hast made shall come and worship before thee, O Lord; and shall glorify thy name. <\/div>
10\u00a0<\/a><\/span>For thou art<\/span> great, and doest wondrous things: thou art<\/span> God alone. <\/div>
11\u00a0<\/a><\/span>Teach me thy way, O LORD; I will walk in thy truth: unite my heart to fear thy name. <\/div>
12\u00a0<\/a><\/span>I will praise thee, O Lord my God, with all my heart: and I will glorify thy name for evermore. <\/div>
13\u00a0<\/a><\/span>For great is<\/span> thy mercy toward me: and thou hast delivered my soul from the lowest hell. <\/div>
14\u00a0<\/a><\/span>O God, the proud are risen against me, and the assemblies of violent men<\/span> have sought after my soul; and have not set thee before them. <\/div>
15\u00a0<\/a><\/span>But thou, O Lord, art<\/span> a God full of compassion, and gracious, longsuffering, and plenteous in mercy and truth. <\/div>
16\u00a0<\/a><\/span>O turn unto me, and have mercy upon me; give thy strength unto thy servant, and save the son of thine handmaid. <\/div>
17\u00a0<\/a><\/span>Show me a token for good; that they which hate me may see it,<\/span> and be ashamed: because thou, LORD, hast helped me, and comforted me. <\/div>
