To the chief Musician, A Psalm or<\/span> Song of David. <\/div>
\r\n 1\u00a0<\/a><\/span>Let God arise, let his enemies be scattered: let them also that hate him flee before him. <\/div>
2\u00a0<\/a><\/span>As smoke is driven away, so<\/span> drive them<\/span> away: as wax melteth before the fire, so<\/span> let the wicked perish at the presence of God. <\/div>
3\u00a0<\/a><\/span>But let the righteous be glad; let them rejoice before God: yea, let them exceedingly rejoice. <\/div>
4\u00a0<\/a><\/span>Sing unto God, sing praises to his name: extol him that rideth upon the heavens by his name JAH, and rejoice before him. <\/div>
5\u00a0<\/a><\/span>A father of the fatherless, and a judge of the widows, is<\/span> God in his holy habitation. <\/div>
6\u00a0<\/a><\/span>God setteth the solitary in families: he bringeth out those which are bound with chains: but the rebellious dwell in a dry land.<\/span> <\/div>
7\u00a0<\/a><\/span>O God, when thou wentest forth before thy people, when thou didst march through the wilderness; Selah: <\/div>
8\u00a0<\/a><\/span>The earth shook, the heavens also dropped at the presence of God: even<\/span> Sinai itself was moved<\/span> at the presence of God, the God of Israel. <\/div>
9\u00a0<\/a><\/span>Thou, O God, didst send a plentiful rain, whereby thou didst confirm thine inheritance, when it was weary. <\/div>
10\u00a0<\/a><\/span>Thy congregation hath dwelt therein: thou, O God, hast prepared of thy goodness for the poor. <\/div>
11\u00a0<\/a><\/span>The Lord gave the word: great was<\/span> the company of those that published it.<\/span> <\/div>
12\u00a0<\/a><\/span>Kings of armies did flee apace: and she that tarried at homedivided the spoil. <\/div>
13\u00a0<\/a><\/span>Though ye have lien among the pots, yet shall ye be as<\/span> the wings of a dove covered with silver, and her feathers with yellow gold. <\/div>
14\u00a0<\/a><\/span>When the Almighty scattered kings in it, it was white<\/span> as snow in Salmon. <\/div>
15\u00a0<\/a><\/span>The hill of God is as<\/span> the hill of Bashan; an high hill as<\/span> the hill of Bashan. <\/div>
16\u00a0<\/a><\/span>Why leap ye, ye high hills? this is<\/span> the hill which<\/span> God desireth to dwell in; yea, the LORD will dwell in it<\/span> for ever. <\/div>
17\u00a0<\/a><\/span>The chariots of God are<\/span> twenty thousand, even<\/span> thousands of angels: the Lord is<\/span> among them, as in<\/span> Sinai, in the holy place.<\/span> <\/div>
18\u00a0<\/a><\/span>Thou hast ascended on high, thou hast led captivity captive: thou hast received gifts for men; yea, for<\/span> the rebellious also, that the LORD God might dwell among them.<\/span> <\/div>
19\u00a0<\/a><\/span>Blessed be<\/span> the Lord, who<\/span> daily loadeth us with benefits, even<\/span> the God of our salvation. Selah. <\/div>
20\u00a0<\/a><\/span> He that is<\/span> our God is<\/span> the God of salvation; and unto God the Lord belong<\/span> the issues from death. <\/div>
21\u00a0<\/a><\/span>But God shall wound the head of his enemies, and<\/span> the hairy scalp of such an one as goeth on still in his trespasses. <\/div>
22\u00a0<\/a><\/span>The Lord said, I will bring again from Bashan, I will bring my people<\/span> again from the depths of the sea: <\/div>
23\u00a0<\/a><\/span>That thy foot may be dipped in the blood of thine<\/span> enemies, and<\/span> the tongue of thy dogs in the same. <\/div>
24\u00a0<\/a><\/span>They have seen thy goings, O God; even<\/span> the goings of my God, my King, in the sanctuary. <\/div>
25\u00a0<\/a><\/span>The singers went before, the players on instruments followed<\/span> after; among them were<\/span> the damsels playing with timbrels. <\/div>
26\u00a0<\/a><\/span>Bless ye God in the congregations, even<\/span> the Lord, from the fountain of Israel. <\/div>
27\u00a0<\/a><\/span>There is<\/span> little Benjamin with<\/span> their ruler, the princes of Judah and<\/span> their council, the princes of Zebulun, and<\/span> the princes of Naphtali. <\/div>
28\u00a0<\/a><\/span>Thy God hath commanded thy strength: strengthen, O God, that which thou hast wrought for us. <\/div>
29\u00a0<\/a><\/span>Because of thy temple at Jerusalem shall kings bring presents unto thee. <\/div>
30\u00a0<\/a><\/span>Rebuke the company of spearmen, the multitude of the bulls, with the calves of the people, till every one<\/span> submit himself with pieces of silver: scatter thou the people that<\/span> delight in war. <\/div>
31\u00a0<\/a><\/span>Princes shall come out of Egypt; Ethiopia shall soon stretch out her hands unto God. <\/div>
32\u00a0<\/a><\/span>Sing unto God, ye kingdoms of the earth; O sing praises unto the Lord; Selah: <\/div>
33\u00a0<\/a><\/span>To him that rideth upon the heavens of heavens, which were<\/span> of old; lo, he doth send out his voice, and that<\/span> a mighty voice. <\/div>
34\u00a0<\/a><\/span>Ascribe ye strength unto God: his excellency is<\/span> over Israel, and his strength is<\/span> in the clouds. <\/div>
35\u00a0<\/a><\/span>O God, thou art<\/span> terrible out of thy holy places: the God of Israel is<\/span> he that giveth strength and power unto his<\/span> people. Blessed be<\/span> God. <\/div>
