A Psalm of Asaph. <\/div>
\r\n 1\u00a0<\/a><\/span>The mighty God, even<\/span> the LORD, hath spoken, and called the earth from the rising of the sun unto the going down thereof. <\/div>
2\u00a0<\/a><\/span>Out of Zion, the perfection of beauty, God hath shined. <\/div>
3\u00a0<\/a><\/span>Our God shall come, and shall not keep silence: a fire shall devour before him, and it shall be very tempestuous round about him. <\/div>
4\u00a0<\/a><\/span>He shall call to the heavens from above, and to the earth, that he may judge his people. <\/div>
5\u00a0<\/a><\/span>Gather my saints together unto me; those that have made a covenant with me by sacrifice. <\/div>
6\u00a0<\/a><\/span>And the heavens shall declare his righteousness: for God is<\/span> judge himself. Selah. <\/div>
7\u00a0<\/a><\/span>Hear, O my people, and I will speak; O Israel, and I will testify against thee: I am<\/span> God, even<\/span> thy God. <\/div>
8\u00a0<\/a><\/span>I will not reprove thee for thy sacrifices or thy burnt offerings, to have been<\/span> continually before me. <\/div>
9\u00a0<\/a><\/span>I will take no bullock out of thy house, nor<\/span> he goats out of thy folds. <\/div>
10\u00a0<\/a><\/span>For every beast of the forest is<\/span> mine, and<\/span> the cattle upon a thousand hills. <\/div>
11\u00a0<\/a><\/span>I know all the fowls of the mountains: and the wild beasts of the field are<\/span> mine. <\/div>
12\u00a0<\/a><\/span>If I were hungry, I would not tell thee: for the world is<\/span> mine, and the fulness thereof. <\/div>
13\u00a0<\/a><\/span>Will I eat the flesh of bulls, or drink the blood of goats? <\/div>
14\u00a0<\/a><\/span>Offer unto God thanksgiving; and pay thy vows unto the most High: <\/div>
15\u00a0<\/a><\/span>And call upon me in the day of trouble: I will deliver thee, and thou shalt glorify me. <\/div>
16\u00a0<\/a><\/span>But unto the wicked God saith, What hast thou to do to declare my statutes, or that<\/span> thou shouldest take my covenant in thy mouth? <\/div>
17\u00a0<\/a><\/span>Seeing thou hatest instruction, and castest my words behind thee. <\/div>
18\u00a0<\/a><\/span>When thou sawest a thief, then thou consentedst with him, and hast been partaker with adulterers. <\/div>
19\u00a0<\/a><\/span>Thou givest thy mouth to evil, and thy tongue frameth deceit. <\/div>
20\u00a0<\/a><\/span>Thou sittest and<\/span> speakest against thy brother; thou slanderest thine own mother\u2019s son. <\/div>
21\u00a0<\/a><\/span>These things<\/span> hast thou done, and I kept silence; thou thoughtest that I was altogether such an one<\/span> as thyself: but<\/span> I will reprove thee, and set them<\/span> in order before thine eyes. <\/div>
22\u00a0<\/a><\/span>Now consider this, ye that forget God, lest I tear you<\/span> in pieces, and there be<\/span> none to deliver. <\/div>
23\u00a0<\/a><\/span>Whoso offereth praise glorifieth me: and to him that ordereth his<\/span> conversation aright<\/span> will I shew the salvation of God. <\/div>
