To the chief Musician, A Psalm for the sons of Korah. <\/div>
\r\n 1\u00a0<\/a><\/span>Hear this, all ye<\/span> people; give ear, all ye<\/span> inhabitants of the world: <\/div>
2\u00a0<\/a><\/span>Both low and high, rich and poor, together. <\/div>
3\u00a0<\/a><\/span>My mouth shall speak of wisdom; and the meditation of my heart shall be<\/span> of understanding. <\/div>
4\u00a0<\/a><\/span>I will incline mine ear to a parable: I will open my dark saying upon the harp. <\/div>
5\u00a0<\/a><\/span>Wherefore should I fear in the days of evil, when<\/span> the iniquity of my heels shall compass me about? <\/div>
6\u00a0<\/a><\/span>They that trust in their wealth, and boast themselves in the multitude of their riches; <\/div>
7\u00a0<\/a><\/span>None of them<\/span> can by any means redeem his brother, nor give to God a ransom for him: <\/div>
8\u00a0<\/a><\/span>(For the redemption of their soul is<\/span> precious, and it ceaseth for ever:) <\/div>
9\u00a0<\/a><\/span>That he should still live for ever, and<\/span> not see corruption. <\/div>
10\u00a0<\/a><\/span>For he seeth that<\/span> wise men die, likewise the fool and the brutish person perish, and leave their wealth to others. <\/div>
11\u00a0<\/a><\/span>Their inward thought is, that<\/span> their houses shall continue<\/span> for ever, and<\/span> their dwelling places to all generations; they call their<\/span> lands after their own names. <\/div>
12\u00a0<\/a><\/span>Nevertheless man being<\/span> in honour abideth not: he is like the beasts that<\/span> perish. <\/div>
13\u00a0<\/a><\/span>This their way is<\/span> their folly: yet their posterity approve their sayings. Selah. <\/div>
14\u00a0<\/a><\/span>Like sheep they are laid in the grave; death shall feed on them; and the upright shall have dominion over them in the morning; and their beauty shall consume in the grave from their dwelling. <\/div>
15\u00a0<\/a><\/span>But God will redeem my soul from the power of the grave: for he shall receive me. Selah. <\/div>
16\u00a0<\/a><\/span>Be not thou afraid when one is made rich, when the glory of his house is increased; <\/div>
17\u00a0<\/a><\/span>For when he dieth he shall carry nothing away: his glory shall not descend after him. <\/div>
18\u00a0<\/a><\/span>Though while he lived he blessed his soul: and men<\/span> will praise thee, when thou doest well to thyself. <\/div>
19\u00a0<\/a><\/span>He shall go to the generation of his fathers; they shall never see light. <\/div>
20\u00a0<\/a><\/span>Man that is<\/span> in honour, and understandeth not, is like the beasts that<\/span> perish. <\/div>
