To the chief Musician upon Shoshannim, for the sons of Korah, Maschil, A Song of loves. <\/div>
\r\n 1\u00a0<\/a><\/span>My heart is inditing a good matter: I speak of the things which I have made touching the king: my tongue is<\/span> the pen of a ready writer. <\/div>
2\u00a0<\/a><\/span>Thou art fairer than the children of men: grace is poured into thy lips: therefore God hath blessed thee for ever. <\/div>
3\u00a0<\/a><\/span>Gird thy sword upon thy<\/span> thigh, O most<\/span> mighty, with thy glory and thy majesty. <\/div>
4\u00a0<\/a><\/span>And in thy majesty ride prosperously because of truth and meekness and<\/span> righteousness; and thy right hand shall teach thee terrible things. <\/div>
5\u00a0<\/a><\/span>Thine arrows are<\/span> sharp in the heart of the king\u2019s enemies; whereby<\/span> the people fall under thee. <\/div>
6\u00a0<\/a><\/span>Thy throne, O God, is<\/span> for ever and ever: the sceptre of thy kingdom is<\/span> a right sceptre. <\/div>
7\u00a0<\/a><\/span>Thou lovest righteousness, and hatest wickedness: therefore God, thy God, hath anointed thee with the oil of gladness above thy fellows. <\/div>
8\u00a0<\/a><\/span>All thy garments smell<\/span> of myrrh, and aloes, and<\/span> cassia, out of the ivory palaces, whereby they have made thee glad. <\/div>
9\u00a0<\/a><\/span>Kings\u2019 daughters were<\/span> among thy honourable women: upon thy right hand did stand the queen in gold of Ophir. <\/div>
10\u00a0<\/a><\/span>Hearken, O daughter, and consider, and incline thine ear; forget also thine own people, and thy father\u2019s house; <\/div>
11\u00a0<\/a><\/span>So shall the king greatly desire thy beauty: for he is<\/span> thy Lord; and worship thou him. <\/div>
12\u00a0<\/a><\/span>And the daughter of Tyre shall be there<\/span> with a gift; even<\/span> the rich among the people shall intreat thy favour. <\/div>
13\u00a0<\/a><\/span>The king\u2019s daughter is<\/span> all glorious within: her clothing is<\/span> of wrought gold. <\/div>
14\u00a0<\/a><\/span>She shall be brought unto the king in raiment of needlework: the virgins her companions that follow her shall be brought unto thee. <\/div>
15\u00a0<\/a><\/span>With gladness and rejoicing shall they be brought: they shall enter into the king\u2019s palace. <\/div>
16\u00a0<\/a><\/span>Instead of thy fathers shall be thy children, whom thou mayest make princes in all the earth. <\/div>
17\u00a0<\/a><\/span>I will make thy name to be remembered in all generations: therefore shall the people praise thee for ever and ever. <\/div>
