\r\n 1\u00a0<\/a><\/span>Then Job answered and said, 2\u00a0<\/a><\/span>Even to day is<\/span> my complaint bitter: my stroke is heavier than my groaning. 3\u00a0<\/a><\/span>Oh that I knew where I might find him! that<\/span> I might come even<\/span> to his seat! 4\u00a0<\/a><\/span>I would order my<\/span> cause before him, and fill my mouth with arguments. 5\u00a0<\/a><\/span>I would know the words which<\/span> he would answer me, and understand what he would say unto me. 6\u00a0<\/a><\/span>Will he plead against me with his<\/span> great power? No; but he would put strength<\/span> in me. 7\u00a0<\/a><\/span>There the righteous might dispute with him; so should I be delivered for ever from my judge. 8\u00a0<\/a><\/span>Behold, I go forward, but he is<\/span> not there;<\/span> and backward, but I cannot perceive him: 9\u00a0<\/a><\/span>On the left hand, where he doth work, but I cannot behold him:<\/span> he hideth himself on the right hand, that I cannot see him: <\/span> 10\u00a0<\/a><\/span>But he knoweth the way that I take: when<\/span> he hath tried me, I shall come forth as gold. 11\u00a0<\/a><\/span>My foot hath held his steps, his way have I kept, and not declined. 12\u00a0<\/a><\/span>Neither have I gone back from the commandment of his lips; I have esteemed the words of his mouth more than my necessary food. <\/span> 13\u00a0<\/a><\/span>But he is<\/span> in one mind,<\/span> and who can turn him? and what<\/span> his soul desireth, even that<\/span> he doeth. 14\u00a0<\/a><\/span>For he performeth the thing that is<\/span> appointed for me: and many such things are<\/span> with him. 15\u00a0<\/a><\/span>Therefore am I troubled at his presence: when I consider, I am afraid of him. 16\u00a0<\/a><\/span>For God maketh my heart soft, and the Almighty troubleth me: 17\u00a0<\/a><\/span>Because I was not cut off before the darkness, neither<\/span> hath he covered the darkness from my face. <\/div>
